About Me

I am an experienced and professionally qualified, integrative counsellor. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by its Code of Ethics. 

I work in private practice and my consulting room is in Kew, minutes from Kew Gardens station.

I have experience working in an NHS environment, I also worked for the counselling team of a local authority, I was an associate counsellor at a leading London university and until recently I worked as a volunteer counsellor for the charity Mind.

I have worked with clients with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, bereavement, low self-esteem, divorce, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, neglect and gender dysphoria.

I have experience of working with adults of all ages, ethnicities and sexual orientations. I welcome working with clients age 18 + irrespective of gender, race, sexuality, ethnicity, cultural/religious background or nationality.

My Qualifications

I have a BA (Hons) (First Class) in Integrative Relational Counselling from Middlesex University, an AQA Level 2 in counselling skills, and a Certificate in mindfulness-based stress reduction.

I undergo continuing professional development (CPD) and in accordance with the BACP, my work is supervised by a senior practitioner.

Prior to becoming a counsellor, I studied German at the University of Zurich before training as an actor at the Drama Centre London. I have worked as a teacher and in marketing.
